Brother Mobile Connect for iOS Info:

Brother iPrint&Scan

You can print from iPhone, iPod touch and iPad using Brother iPrint&Scan.

You need to download Brother iPrint&Scan (Version 3.4 or later) from the Apple App Store and install it into your mobile device. For more information click here to see Brother iPrint&Scan support information.

Also your Brother machine must have the required version firmware (Version 1.09 or later). To verify your machine's firmware version follow the steps listed below:

Press OK.

Press the Down arrow key to select Machine Info. Press OK.

Press the Down arrow key to select Version. Press OK.

Press the Down arrow key to select the firmware version you want to know. Press OK.

The firmware version is displayed on the machine's display. 

 

If your machine's firmware version is earlier than 1.09, update the machine's firmware.

The Brother Mobile Connect App puts the power of printing at your fingertips with a user-friendly interface that allows for simple operation and printer management from your smart phone. The App features easy onscreen navigation that allows you to wirelessly print, scan and copy from virtually anywhere6and keep your home and home office running smoothly. Track ink usage through the App by accessing the Brother Intelligent Page Gauge, a visual, numerical way to know the amount of ink you’ve used and the amount of ink you have remaining so you will never have to worry about running out of ink in the middle of a large, important, or time-sensitive print job.

Install the Brother Mobile Connect application (for mobile device)

Follow the steps below to print or scan using the Brother Mobile Connect application.

Install the Brother Mobile Connect application.

You must install the Brother Mobile Connect application onto your mobile device in order to print and/or scan(*1) with your Brother machine.

*1) Print or scan feature is not available on all Brother machines.

Your mobile device must connect (using Wi-Fi) to the same network currently connected to your Brother machine or Wi-Fi Direct (supported models only).
